Stay Sensible, Safe & Keep Swimming: Covid-19

Let’s Swim are committed to the health and welfare of our swimmers, their parent/carers and our staff. At present lessons will proceed as normal and we will be continuing with our re-booking process for the Summer Term. We will keep everyone updated with any changes.

Please read the following advice which outlines necessary precautions and guidance aimed at helping to keep our environment as safe and healthy as possible.

The national governing bodies of swimming for the UK have advised all swim schools to follow guidelines provided by the government and the NHS. As a business we are monitoring official news and updates regarding the COVID-19, also known as the Coronavirus, to enable us to take necessary action to protect our staff and clients.

We encourage swimmers, parents/carers and staff to continue to practice good hygiene and to stay up to date with the guidance issued by health authorities.

Are you feeling unwell? If you/your child are displaying symptoms in the form of a cough or a temperature, please follow the guidelines offered by the NHS by visiting the online NHS 111 COVID-19 Service.

Have you traveled abroad recently? If you/your child have recently returned from an overseas location affected by the outbreak or have recently been in contact with someone diagnosed with the COVID-19 virus, please do not come to lessons and follow guidance offered by the NHS 111 COVID-19 Service.

Stay updated:

Please keep yourselves informed, let’s work together to ensure that everyone feels and stays safe. We advise to only depend on reliable sources of information to avoid ‘fake news stories’ you may find following the BBC News website useful and also the NHS website.

You may also find it useful to follow @lets.swim.barnet via and by visiting our www.lets-swim.co.uk for any necessary updates that we might post.

Hygiene procedures: Co-operation of everyone is required to help to prevent the spread of any type of illness. Let's all do our bit following these simple hygiene guidelines:

  • Wash hands with soap and warm water for the full 20 seconds upon arrival to our facilities.

  • Swimmers should shower before entering the swimming pool.

  • Catch coughs and sneezes in a tissue, dispose of used tissue immediately and kill any germs by washing your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water for the full 20 seconds.

Thank you for your co-operation, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

Stay sensible, stay safe and keep swimming, Let's Swim
